Our advanced BlueLine® turbine control system will replace the obsolete Taylor MOD300 controllers, inclusive of all remote Trio I/O blocks, which are responsible for open loop control and protection of the gas turbine set. Additionally, the gas turbine closed loop controllers, which are built on Procontrol P13 will have their processors upgraded to BlueLine® CP01’s allowing use of the advanced features of the BlueLine® tools engineering software. As part of the controls upgrade the newly integrated BlueLine® speed input hardware, as well as the fiber optic plant communication Expresso™ bus will be utilized in order to provide a homogeneous controls upgrade for the entire plant. All Egatrol 300 MMI’s (Man Machine Interfaces) will be replaced with BlueLine®’s standards iFix HMI’s (Human Machine Interfaces), utilizing Expresso™ Bus hardware and industrial grade fiber network switches for connectivity. The BlueLine® Turbine controls system and associated hardware is deployed with redundancy in mind from the HMI through the control and protection of the plant. The following components are to be replaced or upgraded: · Process controllers 70PR05/AS47 – Closed loop controls · SC Controller modules – Open loop controls and turbine protection · All associated TRIO I/O blocks · Existing Bailey GMS System · Turbine Enclosure PLC · Existing MMI stationsThe BlueLine® Turbine Control system is fully compatible with the Procontrol P13 system architecture and fits the existing cabinets, racks and slots without additional reconfiguration. Designed with the needs of today’s turbine operators in mind, our plug-and-play solution is easy to use and requires minimum training. Supported by BlueLine Tools® (BLT), an engineering software to interface with our hardware, the BlueLine® control system will ensure easy tracking of signals and built-in test routines. System replacement and upgrade will ensure reliable operation of the turbines for the years to come.
